In this mixed bag theme, John Shinal (managing editor) and Conde Nast Portfolio's Blaise Zerega look at Taltopia, a talent agency site - much like GotCast, IBeatYou, WeMix, and Zivity. We also look at Presdo, a scheduling service. In the end, the three of us split on who'd we bet on. We'd back one of them, but we're excited about the other.

Thanks for the great coverage about Taltopia. As far as our monetization strategy is concerned, we are not only ad-supported...our members have the option to purchase "Famebucks," the pseudo-currency used on the site to help members get exposure. Members can earn Famebucks just by using features on the site, or can purchase them using paypal.
